Pre Spring

Spring is slowly but surely peeking through.Warmer weather means I get to whip out my sneaker collection. I think its about time to trade in my winter boots for a pair of fresh trainers. I recently picked up my first pair of New Balances. I bought the 570's in navy blue. I've been wanting to buy a pair of New Balance's from time now, and I discovered that Little Burgundy finally carried a small selection of them in store!

I love the look of these sneakers paired simple with causal street wear. The weather isn't quite warm enough to walk out in a tee quite yet, so I layered up on this warm musky day. The jacket I am wearing is a Wilfred Free cargo moto jacket inspired by the military trend. This jacket has a good weight to it with a flattering cocoon shape made form soft cotton fabrics. Underneath I paired it with a cozy brkln fleece hoodie to complete my chill out vibe for the day.

Canadian Tux

I present to you, the iconic Canadian Tux. I prefer buying denim jackets in a larger size because I love that 80's vibe of a boxy silhouette. I paired it with a darker pair of denim for my bottoms with these high waisted mom jeans. Underneath my suit of denim, I chose a simple white crop top to preserve my silhouette

Winter Blues

Hence  my blog name I thought I'd start off this blogging journey with showcasing one of my new favourite purchases from Aritzia. Currently in Canada we are facing one our coldest winters yet. So I can definitely say that the winter blues are hitting me hard. So to keep me out of the funk I purchased these comfy overalls. They are made with a light weight draped material fit for spring/summer! Pair em' up, or pair em' down. Whatever fits your persona.

Intro

Hi! My name is Celine and I am currently a Fashion Management student in downtown Toronto. Art was always a passion of mine every since I was handed a box of crayons.  Expressing my individuality was a weakness of mine through the years. I never chose to express my thoughts and feelings verbally. Fashion became the answer as it allowed me to express myself creatively through the clothing I chose to wear. To me, clothing is more then just pieces of sewn fabric. Your clothes carry memories, drive feeling, and keep you secure. Dress well, feel good. Am I right? So please enjoy my blog as I will enjoy it just as much creating it!
